World War 2 Envelope Clutch Bag ITH – Pattern Only

Inspired by my grandparents’ love letters during World War 2.

Create this embroidered WW2 clutch! This ITH 5″ x 7″ or 8” x 12” project comes with 9 machine embroidery files/patterns and .pdf instructions. It is customizable & requires you to add your own text, either on your machine or in digitizing software. This is a DIY “in the hoop” project, 100% AMERICAN MADE.

*Please note: This is NOT for a physical product. No item will be mailed to you. You will only receive the .pdf instructions and embroidery files to embroider this pattern and need to create the bag yourself.

*You need an embroidery machine to complete this project. This will NOT work with a regular sewing machine. 90% completed in the hoop. Need to sew the outside seam of the bag and close 1 inside seam at the end.

Pattern currently comes in 3 sizes:
5″x7″ (130x180mm) — This bag is different than the larger bags (no pockets & easier to make).
6″x10″ (160x260mm)
8″x12″ (200x300mm)
*JANOME USERS: There is no 6×10″ file; however, there is a file for hoops 8″x11″ (200x280mm).

Size of finished bag 5″x7″ hoop: apx. 4″ x 6.5″
Size of finished bag 8″x12″ hoop: apx. 6″ x 10″ (a little smaller width on the 6″x10″ hoops)

Requires 9 hoopings to create. This will work with one of the following hoop sizes: 6”x10”, 8”x12” or larger.

Skill level: Intermediate-Advanced
Time to complete: apx. 5 – 10 hours (Depends on skill level and machine speed.)

Part 1 – Via Air Mail Patch: 3,847 (not included for 5″x7″ hoop)
Part 2 – Slip Pocket: 582 (not included for 5″x7″ hoop)
Part 3 – Zipper Pocket Lining: 2,675 (not included for 5″x7″ hoop)
Part 4 – Slip Pocket Lining: 1,160 (not included for 5″x7″ hoop)
Part 5 – Front A – Center: 16,021 + your text (postal code & addresses)
Part 6 – Front B – Top: 6,431
Part 7 – Front C – Bottom: 13,674
Part 9A – Dog Tag: 4,200 + your text
Part 9B – Dog Tag Border: 1,909

Customers are allowed to create and sell the FINISHED ITEM at craft shows and the like (NOT in bulk/mass quantities/wholesale, over 20 bags at a one time).
