Thanksgiving Turkey Applique Place Mats/Napkins – Pattern Only

**Please purchase this pattern/file for Mancuso’s “Quiltfest Virtual Schoolhouse 9” held in November 6-9, 2024.**

With this project, you will learn how to embroider napkins and placemats. We will discuss how to “float” items in your hoop and other hooping techniques. You will also learn how to applique an embroidery design and properly use metallic thread. There will be 2 Thanksgiving designs: one napkin and one placemat.

This ITH project comes with 5 machine embroidery files/patterns and .pdf instructions. This is a DIY “in the hoop” project, 100% AMERICAN MADE.

*Please note: This is NOT for a physical product. No item will be mailed to you. You will only receive the .pdf instructions and embroidery files to embroider these napkins and place mats and need to create it yourself.

*You need an embroidery machine to complete this project. This will NOT work with a regular sewing machine. 100% completed in the hoop.

Requires 1 hooping to create each item (1 for a napkin & 1 for a place mat). This will work with one of the following hoop sizes:
4″ x 4″

5″ x 7″

8″ x 8″ or larger

Skill level: Beginner-Intermediate
Time to complete: apx. 1 – 2 hours (Depends on skill level and machine speed.)

Stitch count for napkins apx.: 1,961 per napkin
Stitch count for place mat apx.: 18,971 (Largest sized hoop)  & 9,430 (4″ x 4″ hoop)

These files do not allow for design changes (no .EMB file is included). The napkin file can have another design you own, added to it to create custom fobs.
