Patch Making – Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza – September 13, 2024

Date: Friday, Sept. 13th
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Place: Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza
Greater Philadelphia Expo Center
Learn how to create your own custom patches from start to finish. We will discuss proper pathing for digitizing embroidery designs, adding designs on your machine to templates, various methods used to sew patches, and the pros & cons of each method. Three patches will be demonstrated: pre-made name badge, sewing patch, and a holiday theme. A 3″ blank circle template is included so you can add any custom design you like.
{You need to know the basics on how to operate your machine for embroidery such as turning on your machine, threading the machine, winding & loading bobbin. This class will teach embroidery theory and techniques NOT how to fully operate your machine. Make sure to have your user manual.}
